Natalie Zimmerman is a screenwriter, producer, and travel writer. She has been published in The Los Angeles Times.
Natalie received her MFA in screenwriting from the American Film Institute (AFI). Natalie's screenplays have received recognition in top tier competitions including, Austin Film Festival, Sundance Episodic Lab, Slamdance Screenplay Competition, and the ScreenCraft Fellowship.
After spending years working at prominent film festivals, including the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, AFI Fest, and the Abu Dhabi International Film Festival, Natalie worked in public relations where she produced digital content for international brands. From there she took a leap of faith and went back to school to obtain her Masters of Fine Arts.
She has worked on independent film projects with top talent, including Morgan Freeman, Robin Wright, Billy Bob Thornton, Isabelle Fuhrman, and Josh Hutcherson.
Natalie is a writing mentor with WriteGirl, a non-profit organization that promotes creativity to empower teen girls.
Natalie lives in Los Angeles and enjoys spending time in the city as much as she does going back home to connect to her small-town roots in the Santa Maria Valley.
Natalie is represented by Zero Gravity Management for film and television writing.
